Mr. Kleiner works as a full time research fellow at the German Aerospace Center, Institute of vehicle concepts in Stuttgart since October 2012. He has three years of scientific research experience regarding the identification of technology diffusion pathways for on-road commercial vehicles in Germany by the use of scenario technique. His special research interest regarding on-road commercial vehicles are:
- Vehicle market overview
- Vehicle technology and deployment pathways
- Techno-economic Analysis
- Analyses of vehicle technology szenarios
He gained extensive expertise through ongoing and completed projects including literature reviews, expert consultations, computer aided modelling as well as own analyses.
In October 2012, he completed his Master’s degree in energy management specialized in renewable energy at the Trier University of Applied Science. During his Bachelor’s study at the Pforzheim University and the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Business Administration and Engineering, he gained two years of experience in the automotive industry. Therefore, he was involved in Tasks dealing with, product advance development, technology strategy, energy consumption simulation, energy system analysis and quality control of conventional and alternative powertrain technologies.
