Erik Figenbaum is a Chief Research Engineer working at the Institute of Transport Economics in Oslo, Norway. He is an M.Sc. in electrical engineering and leads a research field focusing on energy and emissions from vehicle usage and electromobility. His main research focus is on electromobility. He has previous worked on electromobility and transport sector policy development in several government agencies and led the electrical team that developed the electrical systems for the Think electric vehicle between 1998-2003 and also worked on systems engineering on a new Think model.
